Sean Gundry

Pastor Sean Gundry comes to Verona from Northern Virginia where he served as the Senior Pastor of Buckhall United Methodist Church from 2020-2024. Prior to Buckhall, he served as the associate pastor at Gainesville UMC from 2015-20, functioning as an executive pastor and overseeing external ministries (including missions, outreach and evangelism), as well as student ministries and communications. Prior to entering pastoral ministry in 2015, he served as youth director at churches in Gainesville & Fairfax, Va. Pastor Sean is passionate about sharing the Gospel and engaging the local community by serving both their missional and social needs. A native of Fairfax, by way of South Carolina, Sean is married to his high-school sweetheart Robin, and they have two elementary-aged children. They are all extremely excited by what the Holy Spirit has in store for our ministry and life together in the years to come.
